Albania's Prime Minister, Edi Rama, has held a telephone conversation with Ukraine's president, Voldymyr Zelensky. The Ukrainian president has shared details about this conversation through a post on the social network “X”, where he reports that he has informed Rama of the current situation on the front and diplomatic developments.
The conversation also discussed efforts to end the war and prevent the killings as soon as possible. Zelensky stressed Albania's continued support, calling it a reliable partner in this difficult period.
Zelensky's post:
I had a good conversation with Albanian Prime Minister @ediramaal. I briefly informed him of the situation on the front and in diplomacy. We're working with all our partners to end this war and stop the killing as soon as possible.
We discussed meetings in large international countries. These will be special forms of engagement with partners. We'll do anything to protect our people.
