Albania's prime minister, Edi Rama, said in a live link to social media followers that the campaign launched for public spaces is not an attack on entrepreneurship, but is intended to return people to their common spaces.
He stressed that the government is preparing a regulation that will clearly establish freedom spaces for commercial units without overpassing public spaces and that technology will be useful here.
“I am Tirana MP, I campaigned and ascertained things, I have seen things, and along with the transformation of Tirana I have seen this; the narrowness of Tirana's space, and for that reason I have committed all MPs to return to the people and the 1800 points have been outlined to be released. It's not construction without permission, wall, mortar, brick is about disassembled construction, and there's a great understanding, even when it doesn't happen voluntarily. It's not an attack on entrepreneurs. We're preparing a regulation that will clearly establish the space of freedom, there will be space for commercial units, but without overcoming public space. Technology will help us at this stage, Euronewsal writes.
As there has been movement in the municipality there will be extent of this wave to the territory control structures, starting from IMT to municipal police”, Rama said./Periscopi/
