Radomir Laban had demanded exemption from decision-making following charges President Osmani made, but the Court rejected him.

Kosovo's Constitutional Court has announced that on August 7th Judge Radomir Laban, for whom Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani said the customs institutions have considered to pose a risk to Kosovo's constitutional order, had sought to be excluded from decision-making cases against the blockade in the Parliament. But the Court said that the request was unanimously rejected.
On August 7th 2025, Judge Radomir Laban demanded his exemption from decision-making by the cases of KO193/25 and KO196/25, as well as KO215/25. The same day, the Court unanimously rejected the request for exemption from Judge Radomir Laban”, Says the Constitutional Act.
President Vjosa Osmani has withdrawn a request addressed two weeks ago at the Constitutional Court to define the legal consequences produced following MPs' failure to constitutionalise the Assembly within 30 days.
At a press conference, she announced that she has taken the action since the court has appointed rapporteur Radomir Laban.
