The Electoral Panel for Anxiety and Parashtre (PZAP) has ruled in favour of political subject Serbian List, adopting this subject's complaint against the Central Election Commission's decision (KQZ) for its non-sertification of its candidate lists for the October 12th 2025 local elections.
With this decision, P The ZAP has cancelled the CEC's decision on 21 August, in which the CEC had refused the certificate of Serbian List candidates because of the assessment that some candidates failed to meet the legal criteria to be part of the election race.
According to PZAP's reasoning, the CEC's decision has not been properly based in the law, and it has not been firmly testified that candidates in question contradict Article 29 of the General Election Law, which defines the criteria for the right to be elected.
PZAP has asked the CEC to make the certificate of the Serbian List candidate list for municipalities in which it has applied to participate in local elections.
