Emmanuel Macron also stressed that Monday's talks in Washington between US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky aim to present a common front for Ukraine with its European allies.
“If we show weakness today against Russia, we are opening the way to future conflicts“, Macron said.
In this context, the French president stressed that Europe must show strength and determination.
