Police seize weapons on two separate cases in Malisheva, Rahovec Gjakova

In two separate cases, police stations in Malisheva and Rahovec, in collaboration with citizens, have managed to identify people who have used firearms and sequentise weapons.

In the first case, on August 7th 2025, in the village of Luddrovik of the Malisheva municipality, the Liver of the Malishev Police Station has accepted information about firing weapons.

After the investigation, two suspects have been identified and the weapon used has been seized.

During the search at the suspect's settlement, a semi-automatic rifle, 7 rounds, 8 shells and two hand grenades have been seized. At the prosecutor's order, the case for “has been initiated unauthorized possession of weapons” and “Use of weapons or dangerous vehicle”.

Both suspects have been released in regular procedure. While in the second case, on 11 August 2025, in Rahovec, after a shootout on the “street, stalidin Mullabasei”, police have identified and arrested a suspect.

A pistol, a clip, two rounds and 6 calibre shells, 7.62 mm. The case has been initiated for “to keep unauthorized weapons” and “Cause of general risk”, while the suspect has been sent to the hold for 48 hours.
