80 thousand pieces of cigarettes without banners have been confiscated by Kosovo Customs and police, following the control of two buses that circulated on the Serbian line in Mitrovica.
The amount of cigarettes was found in the ventilation system, according to Customs's Facebook announcement, in a special space for cargo storage and in one of the buses' toilets.
The smuggled goods were allegedly destined for Kosovo's domestic market, contrary to the law.
The case has been processed for further investigation by the Founding Prosecutor.
