PDK officials visit Shukri Buy, Tahiri: Personal testimony will govern Lipjani after 12 October.

Democratic Party of Kosovo MP Abelard Tahiri has expressed full confidence in the PDK candidate's victory for the chairman of the Lipjan municipality, Shukri Buja, in local elections to be held on October 12th.

“There is no doubt ) after 12 October, Lipjan will be governed by Shukri Buja,”, Tahiri said in a public statement after a meeting with local party structures.

He stressed that Lipjan is one of the municipalities with the biggest development potential in Kosovo, but according to him, is currently mired in chaos and numerous problems that weigh the lives of citizens.

It's a shame to see how a municipality with so many possibilities has been neglected. Urban chaos, lack of investments and poor governance have severely damaged the development of Lipjan,” said Tahiri.

PDK Secretary General Vlora Citaku also attended the meeting, as did deputies Progress Gruda and Rashit Qalaj. They met with candidate Shukri Buja and his team, where they discussed organisation and mobilisation under the election campaign.
