PDK hands over the list to the CEC: 33 candidates for municipal mayors, 36 lists for Municipal Places and 878 candidates for assembly

The Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) has submitted today to the Central Election Commission the final list of mayoral candidates and municipal councillors, formally entering the 12 October race with broader representation at the country level.

In these choices, The PDK will compete with 33 candidates for mayors, of whom three are women, as well as with lists of advisers in Kosovo's 36 municipalities. Besides, The PDK will be present in Klokot and Mamusa only with a list for the Municipal Parliament, while in Gracanica it will participate in a joint list of all Albanian parties.

This involvement makes the PDK the largest and most comprehensive presence in this year's local elections, witnessing its leadership and commitment to serving citizens in every corner of the country.

At the level of municipal councilors, The PDK will compete with 878 candidates, of whom 555 are men (63%), and 323 are women (37%). This report decides The PDK among parties with the most dignified representation of women on the country-level election lists, reflecting its commitment to equality and empowering women in politics.

The Democratic Party of Kosovo calls on all citizens to vote for vision, programme and candidacy that guarantee development, stability and prosperity for each municipality on 12 October.
