President Vjosa Osmani receives letter from President Trump: Thanking him for the brave leadership and calling him a true friend of the United States

Today, President Osmani has received a letter from President of the United States Donald J. Trump, in which he thanks for his devotion and friendship with the United States, courageous leadership and expresses a desire to deepen co-operation in the years to come.

On paper, the American president writes that the decision to accept citizens from other states shows Kosovo's strong readiness to co-operate with the United States of America, adding that leadership in the matter shows the power and compassion of the people of Kosovo.

The United States and Kosovo share a deep link, based on mutual respect, common democratic values and a vision of a peaceful and prospering future. Your commitment to strengthening this relationship has not gone unnoticed, and I am convinced that together we will continue to advance our common goals,” has stressed President Trump in his letter.

Thanking the President for her commitment to strengthening the partnership with the United States, President Trump also says: “thank you again for your bold leadership and for standing as a true friend of the United States. I look forward to working with you in the years to come. ”
