President Vjosa Osmani expects some cases to remain “unex1> even after the decision the Constitutional Court is expected to make about the constitution.
She said at a media conference that she withdrew her request to the court, after reporting judge has been appointed for her, Radomir Lyban, of whom she said there is official information that poses danger to the country's security.
Osmani said her case “has been an extremely important case, because through it a series of important topics for the institutions of the Republic of Kosovo, not only for this mandate, but also for future mandates”.
However, I think that more damage would be done if we closed our eyes and claimed that nothing happened to the appointment of a judge for whom we took infomraicones, which we received”, she said.
The president said that if her request were denied, it would become “more damaging than benefits”.
Now, she encouraged MPs that after the Court decides on demands sent by the PDK and the LDK to the Constitution, it will be asked again on issues that will remain unexplained.
It is now likely that many issues will remain unclear, and I want to encourage the deputies of the Republic of Kosovo who have full mandate to address the Constitutional Court after the verdicts are published in the two cases initiated by the PDK and LDK, on issues that remain unexplained even after that act of prejudice directly addressed to the Constitutional Court in hopes that the same reporting judge would not be established, of course,”, she said./Periscopi/
