The president of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Lumir Abdixhiku, has reacted following the publication of the Constitutional Court's full justice, which rendered invalid the hearings held and reportedly MPs are obliged to elect the Speaker of the Parliament through open voting, rather than through a hidden vote, writes Periscope.

Full response:
As expected, for everyone with institutional minds, the Constitutional Court today confirmed our early insistence on the decision of the Speaker of the Parliament and Vetevendosje were flagrant violations of the Constitution, resulting in the blocking of the country's institutions.
For 48 times a row of shameful and unprecedented record in parliamentary history, the blockades exceeded competencies, violated the Constitution, and prevented the institution of the country.
The court clearly reaffirmed that neither the older leader nor the largest party can act outside the Constitution nor invent procedures that undermine democracy and legitimacy. The election of the Speaker and Vice Presidents of the Parliament is only done by an open vote -- up to three times for a candidate -- and within the 30-day constitutional deadline.
This act is a big victory, not only of the LDK, but of the Republic of Kosovo and of any citizen seeking functional, transparent and fair institutions.
Disrespecting this decision is not an option. We will allow no contempt of the State and Republic. There is no one standing above the Constitution.
