Northern Macedonia President: We are ashamed of racist calls to Albanians in Kumanovo

Siljanovska Davkova has said Macedonia will no longer allow sports arenas to return to <x0 theatres of gladiatorial fans”. According to the Macedonian president, the first lesson that “s to cheer” is learned at home and then at schools. She has said that the state should oppose hate fans and learn how to cheer. According to her, Northern Macedonia needs “a cheering alphabet as sport fun”.
“pure Macedonia”, “The good Albanian is the late Albanian” and “The gas chamber for Albanians” are some of the slogans sung by local fans, calls linked to the Nazi rhetoric of extermination. Calls were made in the presence of Macedonian prime minister and senior state officials.
Reactions to these calls also took place in Kosovo and Albania.
Meanwhile, the Constitutional Public Prosecutor in Kumanovo has launched investigations into elements of a possible criminal act, linked to appeals containing hate speech.
