Acting Justice Minister Albulen Haxhiu through a post on the social network has pressed charges towards other parties in terms of reform in justice.
According to Haxhiu, for years the opposition has voiced continued objections to deep reforms in the justice system, using constitutional instruments to drag them on.
For years, the opposition has voiced constant objections to deep reforms in the justice system, using constitutional instruments to drag them on. They have submitted comments to the Constitutional Court against constitutional amendments to the property process, repeatedly contested reform in the Prosecutorial Council, and have challenged the Constitutional Court just as many times the Law for the creation of the Bureau for the seizure and sequencing of unjustified property, Haxhiu has written.
Furthermore, it has indicated that instead of offering constructive contributions to improving the justice system, the opposition has chosen an objective approach, with the aim of procrastinating reform processes.
Instead of offering constructive contributions to improving the justice system, the opposition has chosen an obstructural approach, with the aim of procrastinating reform processes. Yes, we as far as we were in opposition have disputed cases in the Constitutional Court, but always only those considered harmful such as the Special Court, Zajednica, the Law on Amnisting Serbian Criminals, Demarketing with Montenegro, and so on. However, despite these obstacles, reforms have advanced: - Veting has got the green light, reform on the Prosecutorial Council has been alive, and the Bureau for Confiscating Property is in the final phase of review by the Constitutional Court, pending approval, Haxhiu has added.
Despite delays and efforts to halt this process, the path towards strengthening the rule of law is unstoppable, the incumbent Justice Minister stressed./Periscopi/
