Duke responded to Tahiri's criticism of the war categories, Murati has suggested that during the mandate as finance minister, pensions for war categories have increased by at least 20%.
In his account in “Facebook”, Murati wrote that in the PAN government these pensions hadn't even grown.
“The last time when PDK has run with country, with coalition PAN during 20172020, pensions for veterans, families of martyrs, and war invalids have increased 0 euros. The previous time when The PDK has governed the country, in coalition with the LDK during 2014-2017, had erased Article 18 of the law linking the veteran's pension to the minimum wage. This demand had come from the IMF, as veterans' lists had begun filling up even with those who failed to meet the criteria, and it threatened cost-overs to the point that it could jeopardise financial stability”, he wrote, continuing critical of Tahiri.
There have never been pensions for the families of the martyrs and the disabled, but this proves how little Abel Tahiri knows about the subject. During my time as minister, pensions for war categories have increased by at least 20%. Also, during my time as minister, 4-fold KSF budget, reaching for the first time to meet NATO criteria of 2% of BPV. These are the facts”, Murati wrote.
