He added that the AKK has repeatedly requested clarification from the MAPL regarding this situation, but that no official response has been given so far.
This lack of transparency leaves local governance in the dark over a matter of major consequences for municipalities,” stressed Ibrahimi.
We seek immediate accountability, full transparency and urgent review of how the interests of municipalities are handled in relation to the EU and other donors. The municipalities should not remain hostage to institutional responsibility.
