More than four months have passed since the tragic death of renowned Kosovo designer Festim Isufi, who was found without life signs on May 9th in his apartment on the B Street of Pristina, but investigations about the case have not yet led to any concrete outcome.
Family members and public opinion remain waiting for the truth.
Besides Isufi, who changed his life from wounds taken by sharp means, his wife, Rina Maloku-Isuffy, was found in a body injury flat and sent for medical treatment.
Regarding the investigation, Rina Malokut's lawyer, Arianian Koci, has declared to the media that his client is not in the quality of the suspect and that he has not accepted any official information from justice bodies.
I believe the police are continuing their investigation, with their jobs. I don't know if they've even closed it. No more information. The police haven't given any information. I want to stress that Rina is not in the quality of the suspect.”, Reina Malocht's lawyer, Arian Koci for IndexOnline, said.
It is noteworthy that on May 23rd the autopsy of the body of Festim Isufi has been finalised, which has been handed over to the family and Founding Prosecutor in Pristina. According to the official report, Isufi has suffered seven wounds in his body, while his death is caused by fatal wounds in the neck area, allegedly caused by a sharp knife tool.
The prosecution has announced that the autopsy report, along with other evidence gathered at the scene, is part of the ongoing investigation and is expected to come up with an official conclusion at the right time.
Despite the fact that the case has attracted great attention, especially for the fact that the victim was a known name in Kosovo's fashion industry, investigations have not yet produced concrete results, leaving many open questions.
Festim Isufi, 34, was one of the most popular names of design in Kosovo and beyond, while his death has left a huge void in the artistic and cultural community.
