According to early information, thousands of hectares of land are involved in the flames that spread rapidly and draw close to residential homes. Four old and uninhabited houses have been completely burned, while fortunately they are not reported to hurt people.
The powerful fire has caused great concern among local residents, while firefighters have struggled for hours to bring the situation under control. Due to the huge size of the fire, KFOR, which has come to aid through air intervention, has also been activated.
NATO forces in Kosovo have started this morning to put out air fire, trying to stop further spread of flames and to protect the lives and property of citizens./Periscopi/
