When I see the situation and the facts, I don't see Putin very ready to achieve peace now”, he said after talks at the White House.
But Macron praised Trump's optimism of ensuring a peace agreement and said “should be taken seriously”.
“If he thinks he can reach an agreement, that's excellent news and we have to do everything we can to have a” French president added.
