LDK Vice Presidents Meet With Prattipate: Hopefully in Right Decision by Constitutional Court

Democratic League of Kosovo deputy leaders Hykmete Bajrami and Lutfi Haziri, as well as MP Jehona Lushaku, hosted today at the LDK Central Headquarters of the Kosovo US Embassy of the United States of America, Ms. Annu Prattipati.

During the meeting, it was discussed about recent political developments in the country, with particular emphasis on the situation created after the non-compliance of the Kosovo Assembly. In this context, the importance of handling this issue was stressed by the Constitutional Court, where the Democratic League of Kosovo has handed over the subject for interpretation.

LDK representatives reiterated the importance of this institution making a fair decision, based on the Constitution and on the interest of institutional stability, so that the country can emerge as soon as possible from the current political and institutional crisis.

The LDK expresses deep gratitude for the continued support the United States has given and continues to give Kosovo in all statehood; and emphasises that lasting friendship and partnership between Kosovo and the US remain essential for the country's democratic and Euro-Atlantic development.
