Kusari: RTK management letter confirms VV's impact

The media lawyer, Butterfly Kusari, has reacted after the letter of the Radio Television Management of Kosovo (RTK), which denies claims of some journalists who have left the mode of certain emissions, which journalists themselves have named “alarming”. According to Kusari, RTK's management letter does not fade [...]
According to Kusari, the RTK management letter does not dim the concerns raised, rather, it confirms the political impact that, according to her, Movement V. EVIDENCE is practicing on public television.
“The VV will not withdraw from RTK's absolute control effort, just as we activists and the media will never hesitate to raise their voices to the defence of RTK. Even when we pay high prices for this,” wrote Kusari, stressing that the political impact on RTK is documented “with tens of times”.
Kusari is not the only one who has reacted to recent developments in RTK. Even the Kosovo Journalists' Association (AGK) has condemned what it has called “arbitrary exclusion from the display” of the six RTK journalists, naming the move as a violation of the independence of journalism on the public media.
Developments in RTK are taking place in a significant period of freedom of media in the country, where concerns about political interference are on the rise. /Periscopi/
