Kurti: Government has always respected Constitutional Court judgments

He has stressed that the delay in publishing the recent Constitutional Court's judgment raises doubts about differences with the announcement made on August 8th.

There is no Constitutional Court act that the Government of Kosovo with me as Prime Minister has not respected. And there is no act of Constitutional Court, which I, as VV chairman, have not respected. But when I'm asked if I'm going to respect the Constitutional Court's justice, it makes me think it's going to be unusual, unfair, impatient, that maybe we should consider what we should do, Kurti said.

He added that, in contrast to the 26 June case, when the announcement and the act has been made public on the same day, this time the government still does not have the full justice available, which, according to him, is creating unnecessary delays.

Once again, I'm re-increasing that we've always respected the Constitutional Court's judgments, but this time from June 26th, we only have the announcement of the Constitutional Court and we have the full justice that is being delayed, which we must read in its entirety. On June 26 we had the announcement on the same day as the act of prejudice. Now on August 8th, we had the announcement, but we still don't have the bias. When we read it, we will say our merit assessment. But it is not good that we have this delay, but on the basis of the announcement, in my conviction, there is disagreement between this act in the complete version that we are awaiting and June 26th of that same experience of Constitutional Court”, Kurti added.
