The meeting discussed bilateral relations between Kosovo and the US, with particular emphasis on co-operation in the field of defence and US role in ensuring security and peace in the country and the region
“Prime Minister Kurti announced Deputy Assistant Secretary Baker with developments and progress in the country, defence investments along this mandate and the need to boost trade exchanges and increase investments. He thanked Mr. Baker and the United States of America for the vital support they have given to the Republic of Kosovo and the Kosovo Security Force over the years, as well as for its continued role in security and peace.”, the report said.
ZKM also reports that incumbent Minister Kurti also expressed the full willingness and will of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to further strengthen US reports in the field of defence, including the defence industry. /Periscope
