The news has been made known today during a meeting with the organisational structures of the Skyright Centre, attended by incumbent Prime Minister and VV leader Albin Kurti.
According to the official announcement, Mehan is named as a close man to citizens, hardworking and deeply acquainted with local problems.
“Skenderaj needs a new direction. One direction that puts the citizen above everything...”, says the VV statement.
In addition to Kurti, VV Secretary General Alym Rama, Centre Co-ordinator Salih Zyba and MP Arjeta Feyza also attended the meeting, who expressed strong support for Mehan's candidacy.
Vetevendosje promises transparent administration, investments in agriculture, education and infrastructure, as well as close co-operation with the central government for sustainable Skyright development.
