Kosovo's incumbent Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, has called for nuclear disarming of states that possess this devastating weapon, in memory of the 80th anniversary of Hiroshima bombing by the United States during World War II.
The 80th anniversary of the Hiroshima bombing is a moment to remember those who lost their lives and to appeal to all the states of the world to engage, unequivocally, for the common objectives of non-proliferation of nuclear weapons and full disarmament in the future”, Kurti wrote on the <x2X> ” platform on Wednesday.
Kurti has warned of the growing risk of autocratic regimes trying to preserve or develop destructive capacities, including nuclear weapons, for the sake of future generations.
