According to him, these vehicles were contracted in April 2017, while the payment was executed in June of that same year.
Macedonia said that according to the General Transition Plan, the KSF had to reach several dozen armoured vehicles by 2028. But, by 2025, Kosovo's military has managed to equip with several hundred autoblindas, exceeding the projected number three years ago.
With this dynamic of equipment and increased investments, Kosovo is strengthening its military, increasing capacities and making it more interoperative with our allies on its way to NATO”, Macedonia said.
It commemorated that the defence ministry's and KSF budget was spent from 67m euros in 2021 to 208m euros in 2025, without including additional accommodation.
The minister stressed that investments in military equipment, along with the recruiting and training of new frameworks, are making the KSF a more professional force and a guarantee for protecting the country's sovereignty. /Periscope/
