Krasniqi said he stressed at the meeting the urgent need for advancing Kosovo's European integration and the removal of punitive measures.
“The EU envoys expressed concern over the arbitrary arrests of Kosovo citizens from Serbia, as well as the negative impact these actions have on peace and stability efforts. I also highlighted the necessity of establishing new and legitimate institutions as the precondition for restoring democratic confidence and functionality in the country.” has written, among other things, Krasniqi.

Today, at PDK headquarters, I received EU Special Representative for Kosovo Dialogue Peter Sorensen at the meeting.
I stressed the urgent need for advancing Kosovo's European integration and removing punitive measures that are unjustly damaging our citizens.
The EU envoy expressed concern about the arbitrary arrests of Kosovo citizens from Serbia, as well as the negative impact these actions have on peace and stability efforts.
I also highlighted the necessity of establishing new and legitimate institutions as the precondition for restoring trust and democratic functionality in the country.
Only then can the dialogue process and should take the right direction, through a fair, coordinated approach and mutual recognition at the heart of the final agreement.
PDK remains dedicated to Kosovo's European path, democratic reforms and Euro-Atlantic values, and is grateful for the European Union's role in the process.
