The Assembly hearings from June 27th to July 26th 2025 were declared invalid by the Constitutional Court, due to the Seanca Constuitive Chief of State's unconstitutional acts. Meanwhile, the chairman is obliged to continue procedures for the election of Speaker of the Parliament by open vote.
This is a firm and binding decision, and there is no more room for delay or interpretation.
I call on the Chiefs to call the next session as soon as possible, in line with the Constitution and the Constitutional Court Act.
Kosovo needs functional institutions, not procrastination. Every day late is a harm to citizens and the state.
