Kosovo Police: Three arrested in Pristina for misusing bank folders

Three people have been arrested by Kosovo Police under suspicion of involvement in illegal activities related to misuse of bank cards and theft of personal data. The operation was conducted by the Directorate for Investigation of Cyber Crimes in co-ordination with the prosecution and by court order on July 31, 2025, in the Pristina region.
At first, two people allegedly using white bank cards (blanco) have been detained, and through social networks, they have distributed videos that showed up drawing money into different ATMs.
Also, according to the Police's announcement, suspects had also opened social networking sites to promote the use of these cards. E - mail equipment has been seized during the search as material evidence, including two computers, one laptop, two mobile phones, three USB and a hard-disk (HDD).
The suspects are charged with criminal acts such as “Dropting checks without covering or false and misusing bank or credit folders”, “access to identity and credentials”, and “Unauthorized computer login”.
On August 1st 2025, police have arrested the third person, also the Kosovo male, who was allegedly part of the same criminal group.
All three suspects have been sent to custody for 48 hours, with the prosecutor's decision in the case.
