The government's acting spokesman, Progress Kryeziu, has commented on the Central Election Commission's decision not to certified the Serbian List for the October 12th local elections, considering it an institutional decision based on the reality of security in Kosovo.

He has recalled that on June 29, 2023, the Kosovo government had declared organisations “Civil Protection” and “North Brigade” as terrorist groups. “At that time we had been sharply criticized, but it turned out that we were right. Kosovo is an independent state and democratic Republic”, Kryeziu said.

According to him, the government has no competence to prevent political parties, including the Serbian List.
