According to Dogana's announcement, during vehicle ban and control, significant amounts of smuggled drugs have been found, which did not possess regular legal documentation and had no banners of the Republic of Kosovo, raising doubts about their background and the safety of citizens' use.
“The suspect has been accompanied for interview by Kosovo Customs investigative officials, while all drugs have been seized as material evidence”.
Meanwhile, with authorisation of the competent prosecutor, additional checks are currently under way in the drugs allegedly distributed.
Kosovo customs said it remains committed to the fight against smuggling, and especially in protecting public health from illegal and unsafe products. /Periscopi/
