According to him, the lack of a concrete goal turns the protest into a non-political collective “."
Koci recalled that he was an early opponent of the Special Court and that he had personally asked former President Hashim Thaci not to accept it in the form offered by internationals. He stressed that this court has been founded on charges of organ trafficking, which, according to him, have already fallen down, while its structures are exclusive to Kosovo professionals, including in translation and court.
In his analysis, Koci listed five requests to be addressed so that the court can reform and function on principles of true justice. These include: the immediate formation of the Kosovo Assembly to enable legal changes, the involvement of Kosovo professionals in all courts of law, transparent reporting to Kosovo institutions, balanced investigations and building a genuine partnership with the international factor.
The changes are possible only with a creative approach and international partners. They have the final word, but our task is to convince them that we want true justice, not justice influenced by Kosovo's enemies”, he concluded.
