In no case can this situation be used by RTK employees to make procedures on social networks with political, offensive content, or incompatible with ethics and professional standards. Also, any unfounded statement, which promotes disinformation by damaging the institution's integrity, will not be tolerated further, and all these actions will be handled in accordance with RTK law and regulations in force”.
“As public broadcaster, RTK is committed to transparency, law enforcement and contracts, editorial independence and objective, with emphasis on providing quality content to Kosovo citizens. In this context, RTK emphasises that it respects freedom of expression and the right of journalists to work without interference, while any concern raised by editors, or the public, will be dealt with seriously and in accordance with law and professional standards. RTK's management remains firm and steadfast in advancing the programming bid, developing it on the basis of universal principles of public broadcasters: impartiality, objectivity, neutrality and complete depoliticisation. Any decision and step taken will be aimed at strengthening RTK's role as an independent, reliable and depoliticised institution, in the service of Kosovo citizens”. This commitment is a professional and moral obligation to the public, a non-negotiable standard for each RTK employee, and a guarantee to our democracy and society.
