Earlier this week, the Kremlin published a ceasefire agreement with the Trump administration, requiring control of eastern Ukraine in exchange for the ban on hostility, according to “The Hill” reports.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky voiced opposition to this agreement by stressing:
“Ukrainian is ready for real decisions that can bring peace. ”
He added: “Any decision that is against us, any decision that is without Ukraine, is at the same time a decision against peace. ”
Meanwhile, President Donald Trump had promised during the presidential campaign that would end the conflict within 24 hours, but negotiations so far have resulted in more difficult than expected. The three - year conflict is costing much not only to Ukraine but also to the United States and Europe.
