SBASK Chairman Nundman Jasharaj, in an interview for IndexOnline, stressed that the lesson will start over time, however, has raised serious concerns about school textbooks and the lack of collective contract for the education sector, broadcasts Periscope.
“As far as SBASK is concerned, the school year will start on time, because in the meetings we are holding in consultations, even union activists from municipalities we have come to the conclusion that in the situation we are in when neither the constitution nor the government are there, nor do we have with whom to conduct dialogue, nor do we have anyone to go to protest and strike to extend our demands to”, Jasharaj said.
He said one of the main problems expected to repeat is that of textbooks.
The problem seems to be the one from past years, it's the word on the textbooks, because even seeing that the past two years went very bad and they lost a month and more instruction waiting for all students to be supplied with books. Minister in the past Mr. Arberie Nagavci and his staff repeated their mistake in anger. He might be forgiven for the first time after he thought that he might have a good effect, but he saw that there was a delay, and there were parents who had blocked parents. There were various problems with textbooks, a series of problems would be repeated now”, he added.
According to Yashaw, teachers will face difficulties if students are not supplied with books in time.
The distribution of the money has been delayed, dedicated to textbooks. Teachers will be in trouble because they can't start learning until all students are supplied with books”, he stressed.
He stressed that once new state institutions are established, the SBASK will seek to resume dialogue on the collective contract.
The hottest <x0). We at the moment are both education and health and others without collective contracts, but there have been years that Kosovo has no collective agreement that will apply both to the public and private sector. But we will also have dialogue because if we take statistics we also compare Albania's salaries with education salaries in Kosovo, it is seen that there have marked continued wage increases, while wages in Kosovo remain much lower and in the countries around us”.
In the end, he noted that the promised investments for the 21x0-second century school are in contrast with the reality on the ground.
“We're going to seek an increase in the wage cofficiency of course, we're going to look for other working conditions, because we're often talking that investments will be made to carry out the school in the 21st century, but we're going to start the new school year with fears that school textbooks will be delayed, and we're going to start with the foam of feet that are not the tools of the 21”
And then we're being accused of achieving what they were meant to be, we try to have far bigger achievements, but with text delays and foam and soles, we're not going to have peaks with these conditions we have”, he concluded.
