Janjic says Vetevendosje and the Serbian List have the same goals: Maintaining a certain institutional crisis

Political analyst Dusan Janjic estimated that the biggest losers in Kosovo's parliamentary crisis are Vetevendosje MP Albin Kurti and Serbian List, who, according to him, have the same goals.

According to Janjic, the failure to elect the fifth deputy leader from the Serb community, which is a condition for the constitution, has created a blocked situation that has damaged both sides.

He stresses that political conflict within the Serb community and Vetevendosje's position to maintain government status in office for a longer period have contributed to this crisis.

Serbian “List and Kurti are the main losers in this political game, while Belgrade will be a catastrophic loser when balance becomes”,said Janjic for Danas.

According to him, the Serbian List has the same goals as Kurti; to drag the process up to new elections.

The “extend this issue up to the elections, then the technical government, which means keeping Kosovo in some kind of institutional crisis, at least until November, maybe even longer. That goal, in my opinion, the Serbian List cannot be completed. It's the last time those who command the Serbian List from Belgrade think about what they really want.“, He stresses.

He added that Vetevendosje opposition has so far shown strength in blocking their candidates for chairman of the Assembly.

Nor has Kurt rushed into this process either, because the goal of the VV leader, according to him, is to govern in an extraordinary situation in Kosovo for about a year and a half.
