Italian soldiers and Hungarian KFOR trainers hold intensive crowd control exercises and fire fears at Camp Novo Selo
Italian soldiers from the Western Regional Command (RC-W) of NATO's mission KFOR, in co-ordination with Hungarian trainers from the Taktic Reserve Battalion (KTRBN), have held an intensive exercise for crowd control and beatings (CRC) and fire fears at Camp Novo Selo.
During the exercise, says the Facebook report, participants were exposed to heat and flames caused by fuels, thus improving operational readiness and psychological resistance.
It says that these exercises are necessary to integrate crowds' control skills with the capacity to operate under fire-made stress conditions, ensuring calm and effective reactions in difficult situations.
“KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244, to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all communities in Kosovo and freedom of movement impartially. The mission works in close co-ordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union's Mission for Law Rule in Kosovo (EULEX)”./Periscopi/
