INSTAT: Nearly 5,000 Kosovo citizens received residence permits in Albania last year

According to INSTAT data, 4 thousand and 592 Kosovo citizens work in Albania.
Also, according to Albanian data, three thousand and 763 Italians work.

Meanwhile, INSTAT shows a significant increase in migrants from ocean countries (+23.4%) and India (+20%). Currently, more than 1,500 Indians and over 1,000 Filipinos live in Albania, most of whom work in the hotel sector, construction, and similar elementary work.
54% of foreigners in Albania are employed, while 62% are male and the rest are female. The age that prevailed the most was between 30 and 39.
A positive development is also the significant decline in the number of irregular foreigners. During 2024, 1,540 such cases were identified, down from 6,630 in 2023. /Periscope.
