The incumbent government challenges the EU: Anyone seeking meeting with Kurt should come to the prime minister's office

The incumbent Kosovo government has finally commented on the EU mission chief's letter. Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti from EU Mission chief Ambassador Aivo Ora has gone to a letter in which talk of dissatisfaction with the executive in office, referring to the failure of the Supreme Court's act on June 25th 2025.
“in the interest of institutional sustainability and respect for rule of law, high-level visitors from EU member states and EU institutions will temporarily refrain from holding meetings with the incumbent prime minister and ministers within the Kosovo Government building until a Government is in office with a full mandate of”, it says, among other things on paper.
Kosovo's incumbent Government spokesman Progress Kryeziu has commented to Kosovo Preis Ambassador Orav's letter.
He has said that Prime Minister Kurti is acting prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo and that prime minister is his job.
“Anyone seeking a meeting with the incumbent prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo must come to the country where the incumbent prime minister of the Republic of Kosovo works. This does not mean, however, that he does not hold working meetings even outside his office, but that he must agree to that. Meetings outside the prime minister's facilities have taken place in the past, even during the time of full mandate,” has said Kryeziu.
