The hearing was postponed due to the request that the security measure be reviewed by the judge of preliminary investigations, while the next session is due to take place next week.

Former President Ilir Meta was not present, but was represented by lawyers Kujim Cakran and Dulayman Karaj.

SPAK's representative was Alfred Shehu, who attended the absent hearing of prosecutors in the case, Altin Duman, Arben Kraja and Sotir Klapi.

In its appearance before the media after the end of the session, attorney Kujtim Carkani said his client would be released.

We remember that Meta requires the replacement of the prison arrest measure with a softer measure, where the lawyer argues there is no longer any chance of Ilir Meta obstructing the evidence, because the investigation has been closed and the file is passed for trial.

Similarly, in his request for Meta's move, the lawyer proposed that the former president be blocked passports so he cannot leave Albania.

He declared that the battle would continue in court with ordinary and not cut, predicting a long trial process.
