Farmers have harvested and harvested some of this year's agricultural products, but have not yet received subsidies, direct financial payments from the Ministry of Agriculture.
Although late compared to last year, some farmers have begun to accept decisions from the Ministry of Agriculture on such financial support.
Some farmers are complaining about delays in subsidies, who say that their agricultural work is getting worse because of it.
They ask the Ministry of Agriculture to start procedures for the execution of payments as soon as possible.
Farmer from the village of Suhadol of Lipjan, Valon Wehapi, estimates that one of the main difficulties for farmers is the delay in distribution of subsidies. He stresses that these vehicles must be launched on time, as he says in mid-September, so that farmers can prepare for the autumn sowing.
According to Vehapi, who had planted about 120 hectares of wheat this year, delays bring financial difficulties, as many farmers have not had enough profits this year to cover land labour expenses.
He warns that if subsidies fail to appear on time, much of the land may remain unworked.
The ministry's support is not bad, we cannot complain. But what we have is that the tools are delaying. If we were granted subsidies at least September 15th, it would also be good for the state itself because farmers would have had enough money to plant land in the fall. Don't be any longer than September. Then we have trouble living in this world. Last year we picked them up in July... the earlier the tools were released, the better the farmers... Farmers are damaged if the tools are not released before the sowing time now that we have in the fall. Farmers haven't won this big year. If we don't launch the vehicles, they don't work the lands. If the vehicles are released then each one will go to buy the seed, the oil and make the land operational”, Vehapi says.
Farmer Bunjamin Jasanica also expresses the need for subsidies to be distributed earlier, stressing that last year's delays have created difficulties in preparations for the agricultural work season.
It shows that final subsidies were accepted in December, a period when planting had already ended. According to him, farmers need financial support since September, as planting begins in the fields, such as plowing, as in October.
Yashanica, who this summer harvested some 25 hectares of wheat, shows that the tools are used mainly for the purchase of oil, waste and seed, which require immediate payment.
I work in agriculture for 10 years, and agriculture has its difficulties, but we do manage. Subventions are what motivate us to work. Do the tools appear in time? No, so far we've had a lot of delays. The tools by the end of the year have been delayed. When did you get subsidies last year? Finals, if I'm not mistaken in December. It affects because we eventually in September, we prepare for slaves, in October, but the planting starts, we need the tools first for oil, for garbage, for seeds, all we have to pay in advance. In my opinion subsidies should be fully initiated or between September”, Jasanica relates.
Meanwhile, in a written response, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agriculture Development Agency (AZHB) respectively, suggests that delays in this year's process are the result of starting the call for application later than usual.
As they say, the process of printing Direct Tax Locations for the 2025 programme has begun on July 20, 2025, and continues.
The AZHB reports that over 10,000 decisions of approximately 34 thousand applicants have been printed, while the total value amounts to about 17m euros.
You announce that the process of printing Direct Tax Locations for the 2025 programme began in 20.07.2025 and is continuing. So far for a total of 33,781 applicants, 10,240 decisions have been printed at a total value of approximately 17m euros. It is expected that these payments will be executed soon, while remaining applications are in the phase of administrative or field control. The reason why we are about 20 calendar days late this year is that this year the call for application has started by nearly a month late compared to last year”, they say from the AZHB.
