The Democratic Party of Kosovo MP (PDK), Eliza Hoxha, has commented on the Constitutional Court's decision, which provides 30 days for the formation of the Assembly and stipulates that a candidate can only be voted three times before being changed. In Tvve1, Hoxha said that the court's outcome was no surprise to her, as she felt the decision was clear and impartial.
For me, frankly, there has been no surprise this result because the same fileall said the first one, this only came point by point drawing to allow space for any kind of interpretation,” she said.
Hoxha dismissed the Vetevendosje Movement's accusations against the decision, regarding limiting candidate voting only three times.
Our “Constitution and all decisions by the Constitutional Court call and demand in the normative sense that it be established sooner. The right to propose cannot imply the right to block, it implies the right to make the simple majority and the obligation to make the majority simple, but does not mean to keep the state hostage,” she said.
The MP stressed that lack of political will is the main cause for delaying the formation of institutions.
The process must be resolved with political process. There was a lack of political will because you saw the Constitutional Court's appointment cancel all previous hearings, and it says something. Next, you cannot enter a vote in any process once with a kind of vote and change the rule of the game when it is not voted,” said Hoxha. /Periscope
