The continuation of this session comes after the failure to elect the chief parliament on Wednesday, where the Vetevendosje Movement -- as the party with the majority of MPs -- initially proposed Albulen Haxhiun, then Donika Grovall for speaker of the Parliament, but neither managed to secure the necessary majority of votes to be elected.
On Wednesday's behalf of LVV, Glauk Konjufca initially nominated Albulen Haxhiun for chief parliament. In the open vote, 57 MPs voted for 56 against and 3 abstained. Afterwards, Konjufca even named second candidate Donika Grovalla. Even in this case, the result was the same: 57 votes per, 56 against and 3 abstentions.
It is stuck in the election of the Speaker of the Parliament that has delayed the process of full constitutionalisation of institutions after the elections, thus deepening the institutional crisis in the country. /Periscopi
