Alliance for the Future of Kosovo Chairman Ramush Haradinaj hosted United Kingdom Ambassador to Kosovo Jonathan Hargreaves today.
During the meeting, a comprehensive discussion was held on current political developments in the country, where Haradinaj briefed Ambassador Hargrees on the Alliance's engagement in this crucial period for the country.
An urgent need for overcoming the institutional blockade was stressed at the meeting. Haradinaj reiterated that this blockade should be unblocked after August 8th, when the Constitutional Court's decision is expected. He underlined that full functioning of institutions is essential for democratic stability and the Euro-Atlantic orientation of the Republic of Kosovo.
An important part of the meeting was also dedicated to bilateral relations between Kosovo and the United Kingdom, where President Haradinaj praised Britain's continued role in supporting security and stability in the region.
In the end, the AAK chairman reiterated his and the Alliance's commitment to Kosovo's Euro-Atlantic integration, seeking United Kingdom support for the country's NATO membership.
