During the week, the Regional Road Communications Unit has identified several such vehicles and has sent them for extraordinary technical control. According to technical reports, what resulted in noise over the allowed rates was fined 150 euros for use of unauthorised roarers and up to 500 euros for deregulation of order and public calm.
In addition to noise violations, police have imposed fines of over-speed, where some cases have reached as much as 500 euros.
Kosovo police stress that it remains committed to preserving public order, road safety and citizens' calmness, encouraging the use of the app “Raporto Police” for reporting violations.
