Europeans said there are “willing to work with President Trump and President Zelensky towards a trilateral summit with European support”.
“We are willing to keep pressure on Russia”, the statement said, adding that “Ukraine can rely on our steadfast solidarity as we work towards a peace that protects the vital security interests of Ukraine and Europe”.
It will be up to Ukraine to make decisions on its territory. International borders should not be changed by force”, the statement continues, adding that leaders are “determined to do more to keep Ukraine strong in order to reach the end of fighting and a fair and lasting peace”.
