EU office seeks to transfer budget urgently RTK and new law on its financing

EU Office Chief of Kosovo Commander Eva Palatová has met with RTK Director-General Hysen Hundozi's task manager.

As reported in the European Union Office's announcement to Kosovo, this meeting has been discussed for the current challenges of the public broadcaster and the urgent need for the transfer of the budget that would enable continued transmission.

Palatova stressed that “RTK plays an essential role in providing quick, accurate and impartial news for all communities in Kosovo”.

“The EU underlines the importance of ensuring sustainable financing for the public broadcaster through a new RTK law of”, the report said.
