Erdogan reiterated during conversation that Turkey will continue to stay near Palestine, reports Tart.global, Transmitt Periscope.
Counting France, Britain and Canada's statements on possible recognition of the Palestinian state valid, Erdogan noted the growing wave of criticism of Israel in the West, adding that Turkey would continue its peace efforts in the region.
Otherwise, the UN chief has also condemned Israel's decision.
Antonio Guterres, has sharply criticised Israel's plan to take control of the city of Gaza, naming the decision as “a dangerous escalation” that jeopardises “to deepen the already catastrophic consequences for millions of Palestinians”. /Periscope
