From OEK it has also been said that, they have received complaints from businesses that KED officials, under police escorts, have gone to the facilities and space of businesses to cut the current.
Kosovo's economic watch has today conveyed with concern the chaotic situation, which was created by the ZRE's illegal decision to cut off electricity. This is a decision that today has hit businesses, the country's economy and, for the worse, citizens of the Republic of Kosovo. We have received complaints from businesses that KED officials, under police escorts, have gone to the facilities and spaces of businesses to cut power. Police presence has created a very negative image in companies, especially foreign investors. The back seat of the police device on the execution of this decision represents not only the loss of hope to bring foreign investment but also the loss of opportunities for expanding local business investments, said among other things.
On the other hand, from OEK it has been said that there are cases that KED officials have gone to cut power even to businesses that have linked contracts.
Also, we have cases where businesses have contracts linked, but KED officials have yet to cut power. Also, we have businesses that do not meet the legal criteria to appear in the free electricity market, yet they too have lost power. This shows it best that the process of exiting the free electricity market from the Energy Regulatory Office has not been prepared at all has been further stated.
In the end, OEK has called on ZRE to stop these actions immediately and turn into dialogue with private sector representatives to organise a well-planned transition to the free energy market.
For this reason, we call on the ZRE to stop these arbitrary (violent) actions immediately and turn into dialogue with private sector representatives to organise a well-planned transition to the free energy market. Only in this way can businesses, which make up 60% of Kosovo's economy, employ 143 thousand citizens in the country and are the most responsible for the stage where the development of the state of Kosovo has reached. A decision such as today, the only ones who have enjoyed being Kosovo's enemies, is finalised by OEK.

Kosovo's Economic Oda rejects power outage that endangers the country's businesses, economy
Kosovo's Economic Oda has today conveyed with concern the chaotic situation that was created by the ZRE's illegal decision to cut off electricity.
The back seat of the police device on the execution of this decision represents not only the loss of hope to bring foreign investment but also the loss of opportunities for expanding local business investments.
Also, there are cases when businesses have contracts linked, but KED officials have yet to cut power. Also, we have businesses that do not meet the legal criteria to appear in the free electricity market, yet they too have lost power. This well shows that the process of exiting the free electricity market from the Energy Regulatory Office has not been prepared at all.
Such a decision as today, the only ones who have enjoyed being Kosovo's enemies. /Periscopi
