Economic Odays in Kosovo: Energy supply prices are multiple higher than region's

Two days ago it was announced that the Second Level of the Commercial Court has placed the free electricity market on the side of the Energy Regulatory Office. For this, through a joint communiqué, the Kosovo Economic Oda has reacted together with the American, German-Kosovoian, British, Kosovo Business League, as [...]
The communique calls to Z. The RRE to review the liberalisation of the electricity market, and not apply the disruption of the power supply of businesses, as it has warned it will start on Saturday.
We are already informed that some businesses have stopped working, while others are in the process of closing the departments. Also, many businesses are suffering damage due to contracts with international partners, which are under the cost of production due to increased energy prices, said in response.
Communications:
Kosovo's Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Kosovo Economic Oda, the American Economic Oda in Kosovo, the German-Kosovo Economic Oda, Britain's Economic Oda Economics in Kosovo, the League of Businesses and the Kosovo Hotel and Tourism express deep concern over the situation created after the second court's ruling by the Contemporary Court.
In this case, we seek from the Energy Regulatory Office to review the liberalisation of the electricity market, while simultaneously failing to apply the disruption of the power supply of businesses, as it has warned it will start by August 16th. Cutting off the power supply will bring tremendous consequences, starting with reducing the number of employees, rising prices, increasing import and declining exports.
We are already informed that some businesses have stopped working, while others are in the process of closing the departments. Also, many businesses are suffering damage due to contracts with international partners, which are under the cost of production due to increased energy prices.
Business associations are continuing consultations with businesses on further steps. We reconsider once again that no one is against energy liberalisation, but against the form chosen by Z THREE, which has largely lacked physical information about this very important process.
Also, prices offered by companies licensed for energy supply are higher than those in the region.
